Our Founders
In 1947, brothers James and Robert Paschal opened a 30-seat luncheonette at 831 West Hunter Street, serving sandwiches and sodas. As the business grew, they expanded the menu to include hot lunches. Without a stove at the restaurant or a car for transportation, the brothers prepared the hot meals at Robert's home and had them delivered to the restaurant by taxi and family members.

They have the best fried and blackened catfish I have ever had remarkable taste and flavors the batter is made just right with the right crisp for a great piece of fish filet.

Some of the BEST fried chicken in the city. And the peach cobbler is LEGIT!!!!!!!!!! I was afraid to try it, bc peach cobbler around the city is.... Dismal and disappointing. The only thing I wish was there was more of it in the serving ❤️❤️❤️. Also, I wish you can order from the website instead of Door Dash.

The food and drinks were excellent! Our server, Ty took very good care of us and made sure we had everything we requested. We are from out of state but we'll definitely be back when we're visiting the Atlanta area.
